Refund Policy

Last updated: July 15, 2026

Our Commitment

We try to be fair. Email credits are prepaid, so they are generally non-refundable β€” but if something goes wrong on our side, tell us and we will look at it. This policy works alongside our Terms of Service.

Paid Credits

Once a credit has been spent on a send it is not refundable β€” the mail was relayed and we paid to relay it. Unspent credits behave like this:

  • Credits never expire β€” use them whenever you need to
  • No hidden fees β€” you pay for the credits you buy, and nothing else
  • One recipient, one credit β€” a send to three people costs three credits, and you can see every send in your dashboard

Free and Promotional Credits

The 50 credits we give new accounts, and any other promotional credits, have no cash value and are never refundable. They are a gift, so we can withdraw them from an account that abuses the service. Nothing in this section touches credits you actually paid for.

If We Suspend Your Account

If we suspend or close your account for breaking our Terms, your free and promotional credits are forfeited. For any unspent paid credits, we may, at our discretion, refund them less costs we have already incurred. We do not promise a refund in this situation β€” whether to offer one is decided case by case.

When We May Refund

Credits are generally non-refundable, but we review each request on its own and can usually help in cases like these:

  • You were charged twice for the same purchase β€” we always correct a duplicate charge
  • An outage on our side stopped you sending for an extended period
  • Something broke on our side that cost you credits
  • You closed your account soon after buying, having sent nothing

When We Won't Refund

  • Credits you have already spent
  • Mail your own SMTP provider rejected, throttled, filtered, or sent to spam. We relay through the provider you configure, so the credit is spent when we hand your message over β€” what happens after that is between you and them
  • Problems caused by your SMTP settings or credentials
  • A change of mind about credits you have already used

How to Ask

Write to us and include:

  • The email address on your account
  • The date and amount of the purchase
  • What went wrong

We answer refund requests within 3 business days. If we approve a refund, it goes back through Stripe to the card you paid with, and usually lands on your statement within 5–10 business days.
